closed market and useless people

I recently had a rather heated discussion with a patrolman from 35th St. For the sake of simplifying my writing I will refer to the patrolman as she. You all can draw your own conclusions as to the sex of this person although I think the attitude displayed is equal prevalent from those working inside.
The discussion started with her proudly declaring that when assigned to closed market the watch commander in xxx assigned her to a fixed post in the projects. She refused this assignment and told the WC that wasn’t her purpose in being sent to the district. Her purpose was to sit at dope spots, that is it. Now why the watch commander didn’t send her home and cite her for insubordination or refusing an order I don’t know I would have. (That’s a problem for another post.) When a secretary out of 35th St does whatever she wants then something is very wrong. This useless person then was offended when I had the audacity to suggest that she quit since it was obvious that she was not and had no desire to be the police, needless to say the conversation digressed from there.
The fact that we have many sworn personnel functioning as secretaries says a lot , mostly that we have a lot of personnel that are useless. For the next superintendent you want to improve morale? You want to man the empty cars? Then bring in AFSCME.
There should be no person working in 35th St wearing a pistol unless they are exempt . There is no reason that we have sworn secretaries in the numbers we do. I can understand the need for 1 in the front office and maybe 1 or 2 for each command down there but the fact is when 80 can be dumped back to the districts and that won’t even cause a glitch in the idiocy down there says how bloated it is. Granted the 80 returned to the districts will be useless except as cannon fodder filling the empty patrol cars but even cannon fodder served a propose.
The purpose of closed market was to keep you as an inside person in touch with being the police but then again you probably never were one in the first place so it would be difficult for you to be in touch with being the police. Do us all a favor and quit since I am sure when your useless ass gets dumped from your office job because your squeeze found a younger piece of ass, your first day in patrol you will slip and twist your ankle maybe banging your head causing blurred vision etc. and then instead of being useless behind a desk you can be useless IOD tax free. (blurred vision being the current favorite for medical abuse replacing the old soft tissue damage).

AND LASTLY IF YOU ARE INSULTED BY THIS POST YOU ARE PROBABLY ONE OF THE USELESS ONES I AM TALKING ABOUT.

rebuttal

for those that know me or not it seems I started a bunch of sh** at another blog over certain contentions that our government is/was involved in illegal activities. However the blog master didn't publish my rebuttal to their chastisings, so I will do it here. I give him the benifit of the doubt since 19 and15 and sos all seemed to hit the fan at the same time as I submitted my rebuttal and since I dont have the traffic he does I can afford the luxury of long winded responses.

To wagon man and scc etc :
my argument was twofold and I thought clear but maybe not first and foremost as I have stated in the past in order to conquer the terrorist it is necessary to terrorize them hence kill them, their families, and put whatever mud hut village they came from farther back into the stone age than it already is. And bury them in a pigs carcass. Now as to my original question SCC is it your contention that disagreement with a presidential policy is tantamount to wanting the country to fail? I.e. . dissention = treason?
.
As far as the Geneva convention the following is from the treaty:
Common Article 3,which appears in all four Conventions, provides that,in a “conflict not of an international characteroccurring in the territory of one of the HighContracting Parties [i.e., signatories],each Party tothe conflict shall be bound to apply, as a minimum,”certain provisions protecting “[p]ersons . . . placedhors de combat by. . . detention,” including aprohibition on “the passing of sentences . . . withoutprevious judgment . . . by a regularly constitutedcourt affording all the judicial guarantees . . .recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples. What this means is that any conflict within a signer’s borders (Afghanistan was a signer) requires that all combatants without regard to nationality are entitled to the protection and rights accorded by the convention. The combatants do not need to be from the signers country or organized miltiary but only involved in combat within the borders. For more info on this please go to the supreme courts website and read the decision in hamdan vs rumsfeld. (http://www.supremecourtus.gov/opinions/05pdf/05-184.pdf) So yes I guess my belief in the constitution requires that I go with they get the protection of the Geneva convention. Note that I am making this point on “An “enemy combatant” is defined by the military order as “an individual who was part of or supportingTaliban or al Qaeda forces, or associated forces thatare engaged in hostilities against the United Statesor its coalition partners.” NOT I REAPEAT NOT TERRORISTS. However the majority held at gitmo are not charge with any form of terrorism. It is this new category that I was referring to.
2nd I referred to the ILLEGAL spying on US citizens by my government , if SCC you can show me some connection between the recent arrests of Pakistani nationals in great Britain and the spying illegally on US citizens I will concede the point however I still believe with the secret warrants authorized by the courts which are covert, secret, and legal etc there was and is no cause to illegally spy. As far as spying on immigrants legal or illegal etc have at it. I am only referring to the narrowly defined US citizen.
Lastly am sorry about the length of this but two oaths I believe most of us took: “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the country for which it stands……..I will support and defend the constitution of the United States of America against ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC I don’t recall either oath saying anything about a political party or a specific politician or office.

P.S SINCE WRITING THIS AN ADDITIONAL COURT HAS FOIUND THE NSA PROGRAM TO BE ILLEGAL

FOP Medallions

Maybe it's just me but lately I have seen a lot of cars with utter disregard for other drivers and traffic laws. The problem with this is that these cars are displaying the FOP medallion on them. Nice way to advertise to the average citizen do as I say not as I do. The worst I saw was a car with the typical 3yr on single male PO driving his gods gift to woman (or man)kind type sportscar on Humbolt Blvd. Headed to 14 I think, anyway, he was weaving in and out, using the parking lane etc.. radio going full blast ,with his FOP medallion, his law enforment memorial plate ( I wont embarrass him by giving the number) and his patrolman's checkerboard hat band hanging from the rearview mirror. Having met so many like him in my carreer all I can say is my hat is off to whoever has to supervise this moron. He is definitly one of those who thinks his sh** doesn't stink and then when he steps on his dick depends on his Sgt to bail him out ,and if by some chance the hole is dug too deep for him to get off scott free, then the Sgt. or Lt. or Capt. is the asshole for not saving this self proclaimed "supercop's" ass. Not to pick on him alone but he was just the worst i've seen lately. Used to be if you were going to be an ass like this you wouldn't advertise you were the police, just a discrete showing of the badge when you were stopped. Now I guess your time is too important to be stopped hence the big display that you the po po so the lowly beat guy knows not to bother you. May your cellmate in hell be Townsend.

hampton way?

After careful consideration i think the alderperson is right on this. I mean if this is the best example of African American leadership that she can think of, then the street should bear his name, why not? Also up for consideration should be a playground named for John Wayne Gacy .I mean after all he was a communtiy leader always giving back with his annual parties and willing to be a clown at any childs birthday party. The minor technicality that he molested and killed people obviously shouldn't over shadow his accomplishments. how about an Al Capone food court somewhere, I mean, after all he was a civic leader, he was always generous to the little people, he definitely loved dining out, and internationally he is a big tourist draw for the city. He is even better known in Europe than our beloved King Richards I &II. For this alone he should get naming rights. Of course why stop there maybe a school or library named for a dope peddler or a plaza to a corrupt politician?Oops we have those already.Or, in one of these eyesore yuppie developments going in we could name all the streets after infamous criminals and corrupt pols, who through revisionist history are now heroes and leaders, of course the dead end streets would have to be named after those pesky reformers that occasionally reared their ugly heads in our history. On second thought the alderperson is wrong Jeff Fort did much more for the comunity and provided much more leadership than Fred Hampton did if only becuase he lived longer ,we had better go with him as a comunity leader to be immortalized,

Pulaski and Lake

Sometime last fall the local alderman made a big show of condemning this liquor store. He used words like racist and preying on the community. While this visible battle against demon rum gained him political points, the invisible tells a diffrent story.Currently this "evil" establishment enjoys a dusk till dawn armed guard courtesy of the CPD. While the apearance is a constant monitoring of the business the effect is to give the establishment a safe secure environment. The patrons now come from far and wide to one of the last remaining 4 o'clock carry out joints in the city ,with the added benefit of the customers are secure in the knowledge that the security will keep them from being robbed, panhandled, or victim of assault. I really am curious as to how much his business has picked up since this constant police presence.I am even more curious how it came about and why.It used to be when you drove by, there would be a couple of layabouts here during the later hours, but since security has been added the flow has shown a marked increase. Now far be it from me to impugn the character of any Chicago politician but this protection was directed shortly after the alderman was shagged out of the back room of said establishment by a PO writing the illegally parked cars in bus stop in front of it.The alderman came out to let the copper know it was his car that was illegally parked. Does this make you say hmmmmm?alderman +backroom+police security assigned=????
